Why TwenTea

Our name reflects our commitment to purpose. Twenty percent of TwenTea's profits are dedicated to supporting work centered on connection, mental wellness, and suicide prevention. This isn't an add-on — it's part of who we are and how we operate.

How TwenTea Shows Up

Through curated tea experiences, community gatherings, events, and products designed to be shared — in person and virtually, intimate and public — every experience is created with care and intention.

Impact in Every Cup

Twenty percent of every TwenTea purchase goes directly to suicide prevention — funding crisis hotlines, awareness campaigns, and community support. TwenTea is also a proud partner of The In Good Company Foundation, fostering the power of human connection to support mental wellness and suicide prevention. When you buy TwenTea, you're not just taking home great tea. You're part of something bigger.

A Note From Our Founder

I lost my brother Johnny to suicide in 2004. He was one of my closest people, and losing him was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. What I remember most wasn't just the grief — it was how alone I felt, and how hard I had to work just to find help.

That pain became my purpose. I've spent the years since showing up for people the way I wish someone had shown up for me — as a crisis hotline volunteer, a community advocate, and a survivor who refuses to stay silent.

TwenTea came from a simple question I asked myself in a tearoom one afternoon: what if we used something as ordinary and beloved as tea to fight one of the most devastating public health crises of our time? Tea brings people together. And connection — real, intentional connection — saves lives.

That's what this is about.

Every cup. Every gathering. Every purchase.
